Today there are more than a dozen burial grounds in the city. The Old North Cemetery on North State Street in Concord, sits near what had been the original town center, and is the city's oldest burial ground.

Nine years after Blossom Hill Cemetery was established, the cemetery committee expressed the need for a chapel to hold burial services. The chapel was ultimately a generous gift from Concord philanthropist Miss Susan George Perkins, and named after her mother, Clara Bartlett Perkins. Both Susan and her mother are buried in Blossom Hill Cemetery.
