Before it was Penuche's (or as the locals call it “the Nooch”) - it was called THUMS, which stood for Thursday's Underground Music Stage. Although THUMS is no more, Penuche's is still offering the best local live music, and regional traveling bands most Thursday and Saturday nights. There's usually a small cover charge around $3. It's an intimate setting to see a band, and when the band is hot, a tight squeeze, but there's plenty of room for dancing!

You'll find plenty of pool tables, great grub, cold beer, and live local music here every Friday and Saturday night.
Area 23 • 254 North State Street, Concord, NH (603) 219-0856
