Today, we're all more aware of the importance of healthy eating in maintaining our overall good health. One of the best ways to ensure that you're feeding your family the best and healthiest food is to buy local.

Local produce is typically peaked at the height of ripeness because there is much less transportation involved in getting the product to market. Local meats are often raised on small family farms that treat the animals humanely, keep them well-fed and roaming free. Along with the quality of local foods, when you buy locally, you're supporting the small businesses in your community.

Here in Concord, we have the best of both worlds. Concord offers all of the amenities you'd expect to find in an urban environment like fine dining, art, culture, and more. Plus, we are within a one-hour drive of some of the most fertile and productive farmland in New England.

The place to experience the best local foods and goods this winter is the Downtown Concord Winter Farmers Market!
