Favorite Poem Project

Gibson’s Bookstore is proud to be taking part in the Capital Arts Fest the last weekend in September.

We are gathering people who are well-known in the community and asking them all to read a favorite poem on Sunday, September 26th, starting at 2 PM.

It might be by Robert Frost, it might be by Joy Harjo (the U.S. Poet Laureate), it might be by Alexandria Peary (the NH Poet Laureate); or it might be something they've written themselves, or it might be about that famous guy from Nantucket.  Come to listen and to celebrate the art of poetry--and the idea of community--here at the bookstore!
