Arnaldo Joseph, also called AJ, runs the Arnaldo Joseph’s Boutique, at 2 Capital Plaza, on North Main Street, Concord.

AJ began to develop his skill for art in a Commercial Art program in high school, as he aspired to be a fashion illustrator. He went on to develop artistic skills of his own. When he was in his early 20s, he offered to create a bridal headpiece for his niece as a gift. 

In the early 1980s, AJ worked for Sanders in Manchester, building power supplies. While he was there, he met a few young ladies who asked that he create a headpiece for their weddings. He realized how fun it could be.

Just 6-8 months later, as he was walking in Lowell, MA, he came upon a retail space for rent and reached out to the owner. He and the owner came to an immediate agreement, so AJ quit his job that day and opened up a bridal shop where he designed bridal wear and worked with seamstresses to create the custom dream gown for his clients. This was back in 1986.

After a 6 year hiatus, AJ is once again doing custom design bridal, evening, Mother of Bride and Mother of Groom creations. He offers high quality, high fashion clothing from some of the top designers and retailers in the world. At Arnaldo Joseph Boutique, you will find long and short sweaters in the softest of fabrics, silk blouses from Italy, leggings embossed in velvet and foil to dress up or dress down any outfit, accessories including leather handbags, necklaces and earrings that are simple or bold and much more.
