Beyond degree and certificate programs, NHTI, Concord's Community College hosts a variety of learning opportunities for everyone. The Workforce Development Center works with businesses, schools and organizations to help their most valuable resource, their employees, grow skills or acquire new ones to help build a stronger workforce.
Through a flexible training schedule the Business Training Center offers non-credit workshops and seminars in computer applications including Microsoft and Google, workplace communications, industry and manufacturing, leadership and supervisory skills, and development and business skills. NHTI helps career builders to improve their skill sets and prepare themselves for the workforce or a career change.
The NHTI micro credential helps in building and applying skills in a professional setting to improve processes, relationships and outcomes. more than a “bootcamp,” the microcredential course topics feature collaborative exploration and discussion activities.
Individuals or groups can enroll in a microcredential course that is offered periodically throughout the year or organizations can schedule their own private 'cohort' with 10 or more delegates. In 2020-21 we provided training to individuals as well as cohorts from local business and industry including Associated Grocers of New England, NH State Liquor Commission, Age at Home, NNERN and Delta Dental.
