Pats Peak is less than 30 minutes away in Henniker and has something for everyone. With 7+ trails that go from easy to challenging, Pat's Peak offers some of the finest skiing and riding in the region.
Crotched Mountain is a 2,063-foot summit just 45 minutes from Concord in Francestown. the mountain takes its name from settlers who saw the v-shaped peaks as the fork or "crotch" of a tree. Today it offers some 25 trails, 5 chairlifts, plus 900 ft. of vertical drop.
Gunstock Mountain is just north Gilford, a short 35-minute drive away and dates back to 1937. Gunstock is perfect for all level of skiers and offer sweeping views of Lake Winnipesaukee. Ski, snowboard, cross country ski, tube, snowshoe or ride a fat tire bike on the more than 32 miles of cross-country trails. Plus, a Mountain Coaster offers thrills with two-person carts pulled by gravity.
Also 45 minutes away , Ragged Mountain is a winter wonderland in Danbury, NH. Here you will find glades and beginner trails on two mountains (Ragged and Spear ) Ragged’s Pinnacle Plunge Tubing Park is 700-feet is designed with a series of ups and downs that take tubes up to 30 mph.
