The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center has an amazing collection of innovative, interactive exhibits to explore. One can delve into the worlds of astronomy, aviation, Earth and space sciences and become immersed in this entertaining learning environment. In the coming weeks, they will strive to be an educational resource for the many students, teachers, and families that are impacted by school closures. The New Hampshire Historical Society is an independent nonprofit that saves, preserves, and shares our state’s history. Enjoy New Hampshire's history through the virtual tours on their app and via their website, which includes the Timeline of New Hampshire History and integrated museum and library collections catalog.
The New Hampshire State House, located at 107 North Main Street, is the state capitol building of the Granite State. The capitol houses the New Hampshire General Court, Governor, and Executive Council
Virginia Drew, director of the Statehouse Visitors Center, gave C-SPAN a tour of the building, which opened in 1819 and is the oldest state capitol in which the legislature meets in their original chambers.
