We have two excellent, family friendly orchards located in Concord. From Labor Day to Indigenous Peoples' Day/Columbus Day, you can enjoy a day of picking a variety of native apples from Ginger Gold to Calville d'Blanc! Enjoy a day in the country at these two outstanding orchards!
Apple Hill Farm

Since 1995, Apple Hill Farm has been inviting local residents and visitors to Concord to stop by and “Pick Them Yourself!” All season long, you can visit and pick fresh fruit starting with strawberries in mid-June to apple picking between Labor Day and Columbus Day.
After you're finished picking, stop by the farm stand for homemade pies, jellies, jams, "grown on the farm" peaches, homemade cider, NH cheeses, bacon, Farnum Hill hard cider, Flag Hill wines and lots of delicious fall treats.

Carter Hill Orchard

Carter Hill Farm is a family owned farm in Concord, NH. An active orchard since the 1700s, in the 1970s the orchard was purchased from the Farnum Brothers by Sunnycrest Farm of Londonderry, NH and Rob Larocque became the acting manager. In 2001 the Larocque family (who have been working the farm for decades) became the new owners. Since buying the property in 2001, Rob and Annette have expanded the bakery, renovated the farm stand, and along with family friend Rick Duane have opened the New Hampshire Cider Works, a cider mill on the property.
Apples are just one of the many fruits and vegetables available on the farm. Come and pick your own apples, peaches, raspberries, blueberries, or visit the farm stand for a variety of locally grown produce, cider, cookies, donuts, pies, and more!
Carter Hill Orchard is open throughout the growing season, and the bakery is open in October, November, and December for all of your holiday baked goods needs!

Gould Hill Farm
Gould Hill Farm has been a family owned and operated farm and orchard in the town of Contoocook, NH for more than 200 years! With over 85 varieties of apples and 14 types of peaches on this nearly 100-acre farm, you'll have plenty of pickin' to do! In fact, Gould Hill Farm's orchard is the home of the Hampshire apple, born on Gould Hill!
They also produce their own fresh sweet cider, cider donuts, and delicious baked goods. Located on a hilltop in Contoocook, Gould Hill Orchard is not only prime apple growing land, but it also offers spectacular views stretching 75 miles from central New Hampshire all the way to the White Mountains!

Richardson's Farm
Richardson's isn't an orchard, but if you're anywhere in the area, it's worth the trip! Located at 170 Water Street in the quaint town of Boscawen, NH, Richardson's is a great place to bring the kids for old-fashioned hand-made ice cream, delicious pies, fruit crisps, and pastries.
