The Concord Farmers’ Market is as fresh as summer!
One of the oldest markets in the state, the outdoor Concord Farmers’ Market is open in Downtown Concord with its fresh food & vegetables. From May to October, 2021, Saturday mornings will be busy with outdoor shopping, supporting local businesses and farms - every Saturday morning from 8:30am - noon.
First held in the Summer of 1981, in the parking lot of what is now the NH Department of Justice, this Market grew to embrace new sellers each year. Now with around 40+ different vendors, Capitol Street has become the venue and the market continues to grow its variety of offerings.
From the fresh vegetables and fruit, bakery items, plants and flowers and bodycare products, the street market supports local businesses by providing quality and homemade items. There are all baked beans, coffees, pasta and chutneys.
Customers get to know the sellers, and the details on where their products come from and how are they made/produced. This is also an excuse to kickoff the weekend and spend some time downtown with the family and pets.
The Concord Farmers' Market has a set of guidelines for both vendors and consumers: See them here.
Whether you’re a long time customer or a newcomer just grab a bag, and head to the vendors tables. Chances are that you’ll be surprised with what you can find and return again the following Saturday.
