A new Skate Housing is Here!

A new Skate House is here now in Concord, NH’s White Park. Unlike the previous structure, this year-round recreational building will be bright, open and offer all kinds of uses. It will not only be used as winter skate center (with skate rentals and a snack bar/kitchenette), but will offer indoor and outdoor spaces to host community and family events all year 'round. And, the Skate House will have a patio with an exterior fireplace, as well as restrooms.

The old Skate House was demolished and site preparation took place last summer with construction beginning this fall. The new facility was completed in the summer of 2019.

The cost of the project was funded through a unique public-private partnership with the City of Concord and an appointed group of volunteer project fundraisers. As part of the fundraising, there are engraved granite pavers being placed on the patio and walkways. These are customizable for honoring family, friends, businesses and more for donations of $500 and $1,000.
